Heather Graham: Biography
Heather Graham’s first acting experience was when she won the lead role as Dorothy in a production of the Wizard of Oz, and after graduating from Agoura High School in Southern California, she moved to LA to pursue an acting career. Heather’s first movie role was in a 1988 movie License to Drive. Her next movie, Drugstore Cowboy (in which she starred alongside Matt Dillon) was very popular. But even after the success of Drugstore Cowboy, Heather couldn’t support herself by acting alone.
Heather enrolled at UCLA to work on an English Major, but dropped out after two years, to try again at making a name for herself as an actress. Her break came in 1990, in which she appeared in a comedy I Love You To Death and was also cast in David Lynch’s t.v series, Twin Peaks.
After some not-so-successful movies, she appeared with Will Smith in Six Degrees of Separation and Mrs Parker and the Vicious Circle, and eventually a movie that would bring her real recognition: Swingers. Heather’s popularity soared with her soon to follow roles in Boogie Nights, Scream 2 and Lost in Space.
Heather hit the big time in Hollywood Stardom when she co-starred in the summer hit sequel Austin Powers: The Spy who Shagged Me. Her most recent film was the comedy Bowfinger, starring Eddie Murphy and Steve Martin, and to be able to star alongside actors of that calibre shows that Heather has certainly got talent and proves her acting career is only going to get better.
