Sandra Bullock: Biography
Sandra Bullock was born on 26 July 1964 in Arlington, Virginia a suburb of Washington D.C. Her mother, Helga, is a German opera singer and her father, John, a voice teacher. So she grew up on the road with her parents and younger sister. She would often perform in the children’s chorus of whatever production her mother was in. That singing talent would later become invaluable for her future role of an aspiring country singer in “The Thing Called Love” which she acted in 1993, where she wrote and performed her own song “Heaven Knocking On My Door”.
When she was a teenager her family moved back to the Washington D.C. area. Sandra attended Washington-Lee HS in Arlington, VA and with no surprise at college her beautiful looks allowed her to become one of the college cheerleaders until she graduated in 1982. Also at that time she was voted “Most Likely To Brighten Up Your Day” by her high school class. She later enrolled in E. Carolina University in North Carolina, USA where she studied acting. Shortly after she graduated she moved to New York to pursue a career on the stage. This led to acting in television programs and then feature films but did not achieve the stardom that seemed inevitable for her until her work in the smash hit “Speed” in 1994. She now ranks as one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood and in October 1997 she is ranked #58 in Empire (UK) magazine’s “The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time” list and is rated in Peoples Magazine’s ‘50 Most Beautiful’ list both in 1996 and 1999.
As for her marital plans it will probably not be for some time as “I’ve always been very skeptical about marriage, because I only want to do it once; I want to do it the right way.” The man of her life must dance Salsa very well.
